Policy Development Courses

Working in a policy area can be stressful; keeping up with the pace of the new Government's legislative and policy reform agendas is a challenge.

Policy officers are often told they need to be flexible, good at coping with pressure and able to think on their feet but nobody really tells them how to "do" policy. They are just somehow expected to know.

The Diploma of Government (Policy Development), from the current Public Sector Training Package (PSP04) is designed to:

validate your current work experience
provide you with new skills and knowledge
enhance your ability to perform in your current work role
support and strengthen your career prospects
