Certificate III in Personnel Security (Vetting)

Overview

This specialist qualification has been recognised by the Australian Government’s Protective Security Policy Committee and covers the competencies required of those undertaking personnel vetting in the public sector.

Participants must complete the required units and then choose an elective reflecting their responsibilities as an individual or the procedures employed by their agency.  Electives may be also drawn from other training packages reflecting a particular work context or career path.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible to enter this course you will need to:

  • be mature age (20 years or over)
  • work for a government department or agency or private sector equivalent
  • have access to the work practices and procedures required to demonstrate competency in the units undertaken

Outcomes

On successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
