Presenter Skills Workshop
Overview
Imagine delivering powerful presentations and being able to evaluate their effectiveness?
This 2 day workshop will provide you with practical techniques to deliver professional and effective presentations.
Whether it's on legislation and policy, or presenting data or ideas, your presentations will be enhanced by utilising any or all of the strategies and techniques learnt in this workshop.
The focus of this workshop will be on ensuring you can:
- Prepare a presentation
- Identifying strategies in managing your state
- Preparing written presentation plans
- Evaluating presentation effectiveness
- Deliver and review a presentation
- Applying structure
- Using support material and aids
- Demonstrating non-verbal and verbal communication
- Questioning
- Analysing audience feedback
- Identifying areas of improvement
Approach
This workshop is delivered in a practical way and you will have many opportunities to plan and deliver presentations and use a range of resources. You will be required to prepare and conduct presentations over this 2 day workshop.
Outcome
This workshop is aligned to the following unit of competency from the Training and Assessment Training Package (TAA04):
- Make a presentation (BSBCMM401A)
Reward
On successful completion of this workshop you will receive a Statement of Attainment in Presentation Skills issued by the Canberra Institute of Technology.
